Back to School

With school beginning in five days, it is time to insure you are fully ready to embrace the school year. The motto for notebooks, calculators, desks, and anything else school related is ‘when in doubt, decorate.’
Here are a handful of the notebooks I will be using during the coming semester:

(The orange one says ‘Algebra’ it is just written in bright yellow. Sorry, the camera couldn’t see it.)
The notebooks not shown are ones that are not yet decorated. This includes Spanish. Another step to insure a smooth beginning to the school year is having a schedule. When setting up a schedule, don’t under estimate how long homework will take. The online classes I have say to plan on three to five hours per week for homework. So plan on at least three hours for each classes homework and —big important AND— don’t plan on doing those three hours of homework the day/night before it is due.
There are a few other steps to preparing for school which are optional, but I generally follow.
A. Getting Chocolate! (this is one I ALWAYS do)
B. Decluttering and cleaning the bedroom or workspace (A good on to do, but one I sometimes don’t get to)
C. Compiling a recipe list of easy to whip up drinks (generally warm ones, as most of the school year takes place during the fall and winter.) In this particular section, I would put things like cocoa, pumpkin latte, different types of coffee, etc.
I am sure there are others, but those are the big ones I can think of.
Okay, now it is your turn! (unless you are no longer in school)
Go ahead, make sure you are prepared. And by all means …
‘When in doubt, decorate!’
