As Christmas draws closer, I felt like doing a Christmas theme for my December monthly page. But hmm …how to incorporate Christmas? I considered pine trees, snowmen, etc. But nothing seemed to work. And then inspiration struck: what about ornaments? So I traced around the bottom of some supplement bottles and buttons, and started sketching.
After sketching came painting, and it took forever. But it was entirely worth it! For me, if my bullet journal isn’t pretty I’m not likely to actually use it. So I get to sign off the expense of the time as work related.
Overall, I am very happy with this layout, and although it took a long time, it wasn’t all that hard and I got to experiment with different little pictures.
